Bowdoin does allow faculty, staff, and students at each of the member NExpress libraries (currently Bates, Colby, Middlebury, Wellesley, and Williams) to check circulating materials out, in person.  You will need to present your library card from your home institution.  Please see information on loan periods and borrowing privileges for NExpress patrons.

Bowdoin does not allow patrons from non-NExpress libraries to check out material in person.  We recommend that you request materials from us through your home institution using MaineCat (if appropriate) or your interlibrary loan service.  Non-NExpress patrons also can obtain a Bowdoin guest borrower card - see details.
